Birdies for Breast Cancer Presents The 9th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic In Partnership with The LibertyHealth Foundation
The Birdies for Breast Cancer Celebrity Golf Classic has become the premier celebrity pro-am golf event in the tri-state area. The event will feature an 18-hole Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament, a post-golf themed spirits and food experience, entertainment, and awards with LPGA stars and celebrity guests.
Celebrities and LPGA professionals that have committed to participate include Jason Kidd (Brooklyn Nets), Shaun O’Hara (New York Giants), Ken Daneyko (New Jersey Devils), Jerry Foltz (Golf Channel), Morgan Pressel, Natalie Gulbis, Beatriz Recari, Syndee Michaels, Kathleen Ekey, Irene Cho, Sara Jane Smith, Victoria Elizabeth, Sara Brown, Nicole Hage and Veronica Felibert.

Prange was born in Newport Beach, California. She graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2004 with a degree in Marketing and Advertising. The Russian was born on 27 March 1986 in Moscow and has been playing on the Ladies European Tour since 2007. She has yet to win an event on the LET, but has come close on a few occasions recording a T5th at the Ladies Tenerife Open in 2008 and T10th in the Wales Ladies Championship. She no longer plays on the LET, but has played intermittently on the LPGA Tour and hopefully we see her on our TV screens in due course as she is a stunner!

Next month’s Golf Digest will featured The Golf Channel’s Holly Sonders as the cover girl of the new fit issue that will feature 35 pages of how to get in your best golfing shape.
The bonus for golf fans all around? Sonders shows off the work she’s put in on her own bod, and let’s just say it’s obvious that someone knows the way to the gym.
For those that don’t know, Sonders is a permanent staple on The Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive” and also does work on “School of Golf.” A “3 or 4 handicap” golfer, Sonders played at Michigan State before jumping into the broadcast world.

Suzann Pettersen had the Rolex Rankings Move of the Week moving up one spot to No. 6 after winning the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship.
Pettersen became the third player to win back-to-back events on the LPGA Tour this season, as she captured a three-shot victory. Pettersen shot a final round 3, under 69 to capture the come-from behind victory over Rolex Rankings No. 5 Inbee Park.
One week after closing out her first victory of the 2012 season at the LPGA KEB HanaBank Championship, Pettersen once again found a way to take home a trophy. But while it took her three playoff holes in South Korea for a win, Pettersen managed to pull away from her playing partners, Park and Rolex Rankings No. 1 Yani Tseng, over the final few holes this week.
