Natalie GulbisNatalie Gulbis notably is one of the most sexiest female golfers in the world. Golf Channel’s Big Break Atlantis Contestants

I like Golf Channel’s current series of “The Big Break-Atlantis.”

You recruit a bunch of attractive young ladies, who can play golf better than 99 percent of the viewers, and put them at a phenomenal resort destination like Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

The producers of the show are very shrewd by giving us less golf and more social interaction between the participants such as whispered criticisms, back stabbing and disbelieving looks that make all those Housewives of New Jersey, Orange County and Atlanta shows so popular.

If you’re not familiar with “The Big Break” concept it’s a competition between aspiring pros for a shot at playing in an LPGA event and winning a bunch of great prizes. In addition to the tournament exemption, the prizes include an endorsement contract from Adams Golf, which includes an additional $10,000 in cash, a $10,000 shopping spree from Dick’s Sporting Goods, a $10,000 car-rental credit from Avis Car Rental, full exempt status and all entry fees waived for a Symetra Tour season (a developmental professional tour) and an all-expense paid return trip for two to Atlantis…. Suzann Pettersen – Golf Babes

Norwegian Suzann Pettersen, who finished off the 2012 Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in grand style, thinks that the 2013 season is going to be more important for her professional career, and she is ready for that.

Pettersen is one of the strongest LPGA contenders and boasts a stellar profile, but with the 2012 season over now, it is time to look at how the Norwegian star is going to tackle Asian rule.

From Inbee Park of South Korea to Na Yeon Choi, the LPGA lineup has diverse talent out there, and it has become somewhat challenging for the past winners and non-Asian contenders to make their mark.

This is what led Pettersen to believe that the coming season will be fraught with plenty of challenges, not just in terms of stats or wins. Sine image building and media attention have been important on the LPGA Tour, players usually look for something big all the time and many previous top-ranked players have gone behind the scene lately. Blair O’neal Golf Swing Tips – Watch

Blair was born in Macomb, Illinois, but shortly thereafter her family relocated to Arizona where she spent the rest of her childhood.  At the age of 11, Blair’s dad enrolled her and her brother in a local junior golf clinic, and ever since Blair has rarely put down her clubs. Nearly every one of Blair’s childhood afternoons, and many of her early mornings, were spent on the practice range at Dobson Ranch Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. By the age of 13, just two years after first picking up a club, Blair began playing for the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). She found much success in her junior golf career including, but certainly not limited to, a selection on the U.S. Junior Ryder Cup Team in Valderrama, Spain; a selection to AJGA Cannon Cup Team; runner-up in the Woman’s Western Tournament; and a medalist at the AJGA Ping Phoenix Junior Championship. Cristie Kerr wins Lorena Ochoa Invitational

Cristie Kerr LPGACristie Kerr won the Lorena Ochoa Invitational on Sunday for her first LPGA Tour victory in more than two years, and Stacy Lewis tied for fourth to wrap up the player of the year award. Kerr parred the final three holes at Guadalajara Country Club to hold off Angela Stanford and third-round leader Inbee Park by a stroke.

Coming in those last couple of holes it didn’t feel like I had won before,” Kerr said. “I kind of just squeaked in. I won by a shot. That’s all that it takes. I’ve lost plenty of tournaments by a shot, but winning by a shot feels a lot better.” Continue reading
